Rick is a native Rhode Islander growing up in Warwick and graduating from Bishop Hendricken High School. After graduation he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Rhode Island College. It was there that Rick met his wife Mary who he has been married to since 1988. Together they have five children Alicia, Ricky, Abigail, Zachary and Hannah. Rick started in the banking industry in 2003 at Citizens Bank in the Downtown Providence branch. While at Citizens he concentrated on home equity loans and line of credit products. In his first full year Rick was named Banker of the Year being recognized as the number one producing banker in the entire New England Region. Building on this success and realizing that he enjoyed the lending side of retail banking, Rick joined the mortgage division in 2006. At Citizens, Rick worked closely with the branches assigned to him developing lasting relationships with the managers and bankers from each branch. Rick continued his growth in the mortgage industry by joining Countrywide Home Loans in 2008 where there was more opportunity to grow his business through the many business partners in the real estate community. Referral business from trusted business partners is a great source of pride for Rick. Knowing that real estate professionals trust me to handle their customer’s mortgage needs gives me a great sense of satisfaction and goes a long way towards achieving long term success in this industry. After industry consolidation and Bank of America’s buyout of Countrywide, it was time for a move to a more nimble, forward thinking organization. The ability to offer my customer’s as well as my business partners the power of over twenty lenders with a much larger suite of products that fit the many changing needs they have in today’s market made my decision to join Province Mortgage Associates an easy one. Since joining Province Mortgage Associates I have experienced exactly what I expected when I joined the team and that is a group of people from the top to the bottom that work tirelessly to help every single customer achieve their dream of home ownership. It is that sense of “team work” that makes me very proud to be a member of Province Mortgage Associates.
