About Jack Belles
I began my career in the mortgage industry in 1986. In 1992 I founded “Towne & Country Mortgage”, which operated in all of the New England states. After operating as a conventional mortgage lender for 10 years, the company began offering FHA Insured Reverse Mortgages. It was not long before the Reverse Mortgage program became a driving force behind the business.
The name of the company was changed to “Reverse Mortgage of New England” and became the largest originator of reverse mortgages by a privately held company in the state of Massachusetts. This expansion was fueled by a passion to make a visible difference in the lives of our clients. Looking back on the last 14 years of reverse mortgage involvement, I am grateful to have had the opportunity to assist my clients in making their retirement years more financially secure.
After 24 years of running a company, my desire was to find the opportunity that would allow me to focus on my clients, help others, and spend less time running the day to day operations of a business.
Looking forward, I am excited to begin my path with Province Mortgage Associates. After reviewing my options, it was clear that Province offered the leadership, processing, infrastructure and values that aligned with what I needed to move forward in a changing industry.
